Sous Chef Needed Urgently!
We are seeking a talented and motivated professional to support our client’s Head Chef in creating exceptional dining experiences based in Burton-on-Trent. The ideal candidate has strong kitchen leadership skills, a passion for high-quality, fresh ingredients, and a drive for culinary excellence.
Key responsibilities
* Assist the head chef in menu planning and food preparation for match days, events and daily operations
* Supervise and ensure all team members adhere to food safety and hygiene standards whilst maintaining cleanliness and organization
* Assist with ordering supplies and minimizing waste
* Work closely with front of house team to ensure seamless service
Skills needed
* Ability to work under pressure and multitasking abilities
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Passion for cooking
* Creativity in menu development
Qualifications required
* Culinary degree or equivalent qualification is desirable, but not essential
* Proven experience as a sous chef or similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment
