About The Opportunity

This role supports the national coordination of tools, plant, and fleet operations across a diverse portfolio of construction projects—from small-scale developments to major, multi-billion-pound infrastructure schemes. The Operations Co-ordinator ensures that all requests are managed efficiently, whether planned or reactive, and delivered in a timely, cost-effective, and compliant manner. The role requires strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills to support operational excellence across the business.


Responsibilities

* Manage and respond to national requests for tools, plant, and fleet in a timely and efficient manner
* Coordinate planned and reactive support across multiple project sites
* Liaise with site teams, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth delivery and collection of equipment
* Monitor and track requests using internal systems to ensure service levels are met
* Support mobilisation and demobilisation of plant and fleet for new and existing projects
* Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting on usage, performance, and compliance


Qualifications And Experience Suitable To Role

* Experience in construction logistics, plant/fleet coordination, or operations support
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics or asset management systems
* Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach

Any offer of employment will be strictly subject to the relevant security requirements for the role being met. This means that you will need to have, or be able to obtain, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance and either Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. The security clearance process may require non-British nationals or dual nationals to be subject to additional evaluation, depending on nationalities held and the nature of the work to be carried out.
