About the role
As Infrastructure Audit Officer you will collect, collate and present contract performance data to ensuring services and standards required by SYMCA are achieved to deliver exceptional operating standards and excellent customer service.
You will join the Infrastructure Audit team to continuously improve cross-functional efficiency. And make day to day recommendations on operational matters relating to the on-street infrastructure associated contracts.
Other responsibilities include:
* Operate the highways noticing software applications, continually monitoring the accuracy and integration systems to maximise their efficiency.
* Verify that all activities of contractors comply with current Health and Safety legislation to ensure safe working practises are adhered to.
* Record the performance of all contractors against agreed criteria for the day-to-day delivery of the on-street infrastructure contracts.
* Investigate all customer comments and complaints and promote operational performance to the public, recommending appropriate action to remedy situations.
* Produce performance related reports on request on a routine and ad-hoc basis.
* Make recommendations to the On-street Infrastructure team on identified repairs or improvement works.
* Liaise with contract suppliers in line with Stakeholder consultation and contract management.
About you
You’ll have previous experience in a similar role with practical knowledge of health and safety and best practices. Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you hold a full valid driving licence.

* Good geographical knowledge of South Yorkshire
* Experience of business administration and data entry (including use of MS office).
* Experience of coordinating and liaising with contractors.
* Experience of safeguarding assets and asset supervisory management.
* Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
* Experience and ability to apply tact, diplomacy and confidentially at all times when dealing with customers.
