Head of Finance & Accountancy – Build a New Service Line in a Thriving Corporate Services GroupExecutive Role | £100,000 - £120,000 + Equity Share, Bonus + Full BenefitsAre you a commercially driven, ambitious accountant ready to build something from the ground up?A dynamic, founder-led Corporate Services Group – already profitable, fast-growing, and supporting over half a million SMEs and entrepreneurs – is expanding its portfolio by launching a new accountancy services division. With a built-in customer base, a strong brand reputation, and a proven infrastructure for scaling service lines, we’re now seeking a Head of Finance & Accountancy to lead, launch, and grow this new vertical.This is not a traditional finance leadership role - it’s a rare build-it-yourself opportunity to create a market-leading function within an exciting, high-growth environment.You’ll have full ownership to establish and scale the new accountancy services arm from the ground up. That means crafting the strategy, defining the service proposition, promoting the offer to existing and prospective clients, and building a high-performing team.

It’s a unique blend of entrepreneurial challenge and corporate momentum.What You’ll Do• Design and execute the full strategy to launch and scale the accountancy service line.• Build your team: attract, recruit, and lead a talented group of qualified and part-qualified accountants.• Promote and grow: work closely with marketing and sales to take the service to market, leveraging an existing client base.• Deliver excellence: ensure compliance, technical quality, and client satisfaction at every stage.• Own the numbers: manage full P&L accountability, drive profitability, and implement robust operational systems.• Innovate the offer: identify ways to cross-sell, upsell, and differentiate in a competitive market.• Be the strategic voice of finance across the group—advising leadership and shaping the business roadmap.Who You Are• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experience.• Currently operating at a senior level—perhaps a Partner, Director, or Senior Manager—within a successful accountancy firm.• Commercially astute, with a record of growing service lines, leading teams, and winning new business.• Entrepreneurial and self-starting—you thrive in blank-sheet scenarios where you can shape the vision.• Comfortable navigating a fast-paced, high-volume environment with scale and complexity.• A confident communicator who can influence at board level, build trust with clients, and inspire teams.• Most of all: you’re excited by the challenge of building something exceptional.This is your chance to found and grow a business within a business.
