Teaching Personnel are currently working with a high-achieving secondary school in Salford to recruit an experienced and passionate History Teacher to join their successful Humanities department from September 2025.
* Full-time, Monday – Friday.
* Paid in line with the Teacher Pay Scale (M1-UPS3)
* Full planning and marking responsibilities
The head of humanities is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate history teacher with a track record of excellent classroom practice. You will take on a full timetable teaching KS3 and KS4 classes and so it is essential that you are able to teach across varying abilities.
You will plan and deliver enriching lessons covering the history curriculum that engage learners. You will also assess student progress against set targets and set new learning goals which motivate learners.
Teacher requirements:
* Hold QTS and a PGCE specialising in History
* Experience teaching History to students aged 11-16
* Strong classroom management
* A commitment to providing high quality teaching and learning experiences.
