Join to apply for the Domestic Supervisor role at NHS Scotland.
This is a permanent post for part time hours (17.27) that will be worked Monday to Sunday.
Responsibilities
* Provide an efficient, high quality domestic service to patients and staff, following a specific schedule of work relating to defined areas.
* Monitor all areas of hospital clinical and non-clinical locations.
* Train staff to use cleaning equipment and ensure staff have completed statutory and mandatory training.
* Maintain a flexible approach to daily routine.
* Ensure the safe and economical use of cleaning agents in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions.
* Use mechanical cleaning equipment where required.
* Wear protective clothing as supplied and complete all daily/weekly sign‑off sheets for areas.
Requirements and considerations
* Ability to adapt to a flexible routine and environments within a hospital setting.
* Maintenance of health and safety standards in cleaning operations.
