Role Description
We're looking for a
Senior Product Director
who wants to do more than manage roadmaps - this is a chance to set the strategic vision for Digital Ties' product portfolio and shape how mobility evolves across the UK and beyond. You will define and drive product strategy, lead and mentor product managers, and collaborate across engineering, design, marketing, and commercial functions to deliver products that truly transform everyday journeys.

* Compensation
: Flexible - either a salaried role with stock options or a contractor arrangement (with or without equity), negotiable for the right candidate.

: UK-based, ideally London or West London (near Kingston Upon Thames). Hybrid flexibility possible.

: Full-time (with some flexibility).

Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Vision & Planning
: Develop and articulate the product vision, strategy, and high-level roadmaps in alignment with business goals.
* Market & Customer Focus
: Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and gather user insights to identify opportunities for new products and improvements.
* Cross-Functional Leadership
: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and operations to ensure seamless product development and launches.
* Product Lifecycle Management
: Oversee the full lifecycle from ideation to post-launch, ensuring continuous improvement and measurable impact.
* Team Leadership
: Lead and mentor product managers, setting clear objectives and ensuring alignment with company priorities.
* Stakeholder Communication
: Provide clear, data-driven updates on product performance, risks, and opportunities to executives, investors, and partners.
* Financial Oversight
: Monitor product budgets, costs, and ROI to ensure financial discipline and strategic resource allocation.
Required Qualifications and Experience
* Proven experience as a
Senior Product Director, Head of Product, or Product Manager
with responsibility for setting product vision and strategy.
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience building or leading product teams.
* Demonstrated ability to create product roadmaps that balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence at all levels.
* Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform product decisions.
* Market awareness and customer acumen, ideally in SaaS, mobility, transport, or smart city technologies.
* Financial management experience related to product budgets and costs.
* Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills
* Experience in the
mobility, parking, or transportation industries
.
* Familiarity with UK mobility regulations and policies.
* Experience working with or alongside councils, government bodies, or large ecosystem partners.
* Understanding of sustainability frameworks and designing for behaviour change.
* Exposure to
AI/ML or data-driven platforms
in mobility or consumer services.
