Commercial Gas Engineer
Salary: £41,500 + Door to Door (1 in 4 call out) • Location: Nottingham • Company: Winner Recruitment on behalf of a family-run service provider.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Maintain and service commercial gas appliances, boilers, pipework, valves, and ventilation through planned maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
* Perform plumbing maintenance such as replacing taps and repairing leaks.
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure safe operation of gas systems.
* Diagnose faults in gas appliances and carry out necessary repairs.
* Assemble components for various projects.
* Complete all required work-related documentation accurately and on time, exceeding customer expectations.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete installations efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
* Always adhere to health and safety regulations.
Candidate
* Relevant qualifications such as COCN1, MET1, CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, HTR1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CODNCO1, CORT1, UVHW.
* Having commercial catering tickets is beneficial.
* Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely.
* Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and fault finding.
* Experience working in occupied premises.
* Clear communicator, both oral and written.
* Customer‑focused approach.
