Grassland Agro sources, produces, and sells a complete range of conventional commodity fertilizers, as well as specialty fertilizers and soil conditioning products. The company also sells animal mineral blocks, biostimulants, and dairy hygiene products. As part of Groupe Roullier, our R&D takes place at our Global Innovation Center in St. Malo. Grassland Agro employees are passionate about delivering superior technical advice on farms. We are looking for a Regional Sales and Business Development Manager for the Northern Ireland region.
The successful candidate will develop long-term relationships with customers and industry stakeholders, report to the Speciality Business Commercial Manager, and be responsible for:
1. Developing and implementing strategic and operational plans to maximize sales and customer service.
2. Enhancing the technical presentation of the product range to meet regional needs.
3. Optimizing distribution, operations, and costs.
4. Managing relationships and accounts with trade customers, including product support and customer service.
5. Overseeing sales administration policies and procedures.
6. Managing and supporting the technical sales team, including recruitment, target setting, and performance management.
7. Motivating and supporting the team to optimize sales and service.
8. Promoting company policies on HR, health and safety, pricing, and terms.
9. Contributing to company development through active participation in management and operational teams.
**Requirements:**
* Third-level qualification in Agriculture and/or Business.
* Proven experience as a sales manager or representative with a track record of exceeding targets.
* Technical knowledge of the Agri-sector.
* Strong commercial skills and relationship management at trade and farmer levels.
* Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.
* Effective communication and presentation skills.
* Problem-solving attitude and team interaction skills.
* Excellent organization and time management.
* Valid full driver's license.
**What we offer:**
* Competitive salary (£45,000 - £55,000) plus performance bonus.
