Specialising in painting and decorating, paint spraying and tape and jointing services, delivering projects nationwide in the commercial, industrial and residential sectors we are looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator working supervisor to join our team. Our reputation is built on quality, reliability, and our attention to detail. We work closely with clients from initial planning through to project completion, ensuring every project is delivered to the highest standard. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead by example on site, delivering high-quality finishes while supporting and guiding others by working on the tools daily but with also managing and overseeing projects.
What you'll do:
* Carry out painting and decorating and spraying works to a high standard.
* Lead by example on site while directing and supervising other operatives.
* Organise daily tasks and delegate tasks to operatives, organise materials and schedules.
* Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to spec.
* Liaise with operatives, project managers, site managers, and suppliers.
* Step in across projects to keep things moving smoothly.
What we're looking for:
* Skilled painter & decorator with strong finishing and preparation skills with a good amount of experience with paint spraying and wallpapering.
* Experience supervising or leading a team on site.
* Positive, adaptable, and motivated attitude.
* Fantastic communication and problem-solving skills.
* Able to work away around the United Kingdom monday to friday with occasionally working longer hours to suit the projects requirements.
* Able to manage multiple projects at once with communicating and reporting effectively with office staff.
* Preference for good written and adequate IT skills.
Essential/Preferred tickets:
* Blue CSCS card in painting and decorating (essential)
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred)
* First aid (advantageous)
* IPAF / PASMA (advantageous)
