Are you an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented individual with experience in residential or commercial conveyancing? Our Client is looking for a Conveyancing Assistant to support our busy property department and ensure smooth, efficient handling of client matters from instruction to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting fee earners with the management of conveyancing files from instruction to post-completion
* Drafting legal documents and correspondence
* Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties
* Conducting Land Registry searches and submitting SDLT returns
* Preparing completion statements and supporting with file closure
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring deadlines are met
* Supporting the wider team with administrative tasks as required
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a conveyancing or legal assistant role
* Strong understanding of the conveyancing process
* Excellent communication and client care skills
* High attention to detail and organisational abilities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
