Job Role
We're looking for a skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our Information Security Team and play a vital role in providing expert technical guidance on all aspects of Security Operations, helping to safeguard our organisation.
Your role will involve delivering metrics that cover both the technical aspects and service management of security incidents, vulnerability assessments, threat evaluations, forensic investigations, and more. Additionally, you'll produce detailed, high-quality reports on security matters, tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Our perfect candidate for this role will possess a proven history of collaborating within a successful team to deliver Security Operations. They should hold a Security+ certification and showcase exceptional analytical skills in the field of Cyber Security.
In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we're offering a competitive salary range of £40,000 to £45,000 p.a. (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Key Responsibilities
* Providing technical expertise in Security Operations to inform the Information Security team, the IT team and the business as required.
* Collecting data and providing analysis.
* Creating routine and adhoc reports on Security Incident resolution, breaches etc.
* Ensuring the Information Security team and IT team has the information necessary to perform their functions.
* Providing inputs into Cyber Security policies and procedures.
* Providing advice and guidance to the Information Security team on technical security operations and being a collaborative member of the adjacent IT team.
* Providing input to the Information Security Certification and audit processes.
Skills and Experience
* Experience in a technical security role.
* High level of analytical skills in Cyber Security.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Experience working within effective teams delivering in Security Operations.
* Security+ certification.
* Experience with Microsoft security suite including Sentinel.
* Familiarity with relevant technical standards such as ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus.
* Proficiency in relevant technical IT standards such as NIST Cyber Security Framework, NCSC policies and guidelines, etc.
