Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire, South East, UKWe are recruiting for an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior to join a successful, independent accountancy practice that is looking to add to its dynamic team. Within this role you will be supporting the delivery of bookkeeping, payroll, tax and accounting and audit services to a diverse client portfolio.The audit element of the role will be approximately 20-30% and as Accounts & Audit Semi Senior, you will work towards increasing your scope of work as experience grows.If successful, you will be offered a competitive salary, depending upon experience and study stage, study support if required, a comprehensive range of benefits, flexible working and a supportive working environment.As Accounts & Audit Semi Senior your responsibilities will include:Support year-end accounts production and liaise with clients as requiredWorking on audits within a small team including planning, fieldwork through to completionMaintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple clientsProcess and manage client payrolls, including statutory returnsAssist in the preparation of management accounts, VAT returns, and financial statementsPrepare self-assessment tax returns and assist with MTD for clients moving into this areaAssistance with corporation tax computationEnsure compliance with accounting standards and relevant legislationProvide ad hoc support to the senior team membersTo be considered for this position you will satisfy the following:Ideally be part-qualified ACA / ACCA
