We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Deputy Manager to lead and inspire our care teams at Mais House, ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care.
Work pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
As a Deputy Manager, you will To be involved in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations as part of the Home Management Team, particularly in relation to the provision of residential, dementia and nursing services
Key responsibilities will include:
* Clinical and Operational Oversight: Deputise for the Registered Manager, ensuring safe, high-quality residential, nursing, and dementia care, and full compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards.
* Quality & Strategy: Drive the review and development of care pathways, risk assessments, and service development plans, evidenced by clear outcomes and impacts.
* People Leadership: Conduct clinical and management supervision for Nurses and allied health professionals, ensuring safe staffing levels and promoting team wellbeing.
* Statutory Compliance: Take a leading role in maintaining adherence to all health & social care legislation (e.g., CQC, MCA/DoLS, Health & Safety).
* Safeguarding: Lead high-level investigations of safeguarding concerns, ensuring prompt reporting and full documentation.
