Overview
Senior Asset Operations Manager - Aldermaston, Berkshire, RG7 4PR. Location between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking. (2 opportunities - Aldermaston and Burghfield)
Package: Up to £75k (depending on suitability, qualifications, and level of experience)

Key Responsibilities
* Daily management of assets within an Estate Area, ensuring they are maintained and available in accordance with Programme demands.
* Oversight of facilities operations, supporting the head of operations by ensuring site activities can commence safely and securely.
* Ensure the facility has everything required to open and operate, adheres to manning arrangements, and remains within the scope of safety case assessment and optimal facility emergency response arrangements.
* Close liaison with work coordination centres and management of operations, maintenance teams, engineers, and third-party contractors.
Qualifications and Experience
* Extensive facility and/or process management experience within a highly regulated environment.
* A good standard of basic education.
* Ability to identify problems, evaluate options and formulate effective process, system and organisational solutions.
Desirable
* HNC/HND in scientific or engineering discipline, or equivalent qualification, or equivalent experience.
* Previous experience engaging with external regulators (desirable).
* General management (business and people) to manage and resolve complex cross-discipline, technical and organisational issues.
* Ability to maintain high effectiveness in a multitask role, manage priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
* NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health, or equivalent qualification (desirable).

Note: Due to the classified nature of the work involved, there are limited opportunities to work from home in this role. The successful candidate is expected to spend the majority of time on site at AWE Aldermaston or Burghfield.
