About the role
We are working with a well-established insurance business based in Mansfield who are looking to recruit a reliable and detail-focused Accounts Assistant. This is a flexible opportunity, open to both full-time and part-time candidates, offering a supportive environment and varied day-to-day responsibilities. This role would suit someone with solid transactional finance experience who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.
Key responsibilities
* Processing purchase and sales invoices
* Bank reconciliations
* Credit control and allocation of payments
* Assisting with month-end processes
* Maintaining accurate financial records
* Supporting the wider finance team with general accounts administration
About you
* Previous experience in an accounts or finance assistant role
* Confident using accounting software and Excel
* Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
* Experience within insurance or financial services would be advantageous, but not essential
Whats on offer
* Salary of £28,000 - £30,000 FTE (depending on experience)
