One of my local government clients is seeking a skilled Employment Solicitor to join its Litigation Team on a temporary contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing legal advice and representation on a range of employment law matters across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver comprehensive advice on all aspects of employment law, policy, and governance. * Manage and conduct litigation, including preparation and representation at Employment Tribunals (ET) and Courts. * Act as an advocate for the Council when required. * Collaborate with internal departments to ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation. Essential Requirements: * Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with experience in employment law. * Demonstrated experience representing clients in Employment Tribunals and litigation matters. * Strong knowledge of public sector legal frameworks and governance. * Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
