A teaching assistant is needed for an independent school in North London for neurodivergent children aged 11-14.
As a teaching assistant, you will be supporting students with MLD and moderate ASD who are working very closely to the national curriculum.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities
* Providing academic support, either one-on-one or in a small group.
* Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom culture and providing emotional support when needed.
* Implementing behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
* Using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage focus and self-control.
* Assisting with lesson planning and delivery.
* Being aware of safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
Teaching Assistant Requirements
* The right to work in the UK.
* A clear and up-to-date DBS.
* Experience working as a teaching assistant.
* A patient and calm attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
