The Role: The NPD Project Manager will coordinate multi-discipline NPD engineering projects along with working closely with all relevant stakeholders in the organisation to ensure projects are efficiently managed. This will include but not limited to the Client support, Sales and Operations teams. The NPD Project Manager will have good technical abilities to fully understand the market technology as well as competitor technology. This role will contribute to the Energy Division business development and NPD initiatives, strengthen our market position and help drive revenue growth through innovative solutions. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Lead cross functional project teams to ensure successful delivery of NPD projects to the agreed project plan. Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications. Facilitate regular project meetings and status updates with stakeholders and ensure clear communication of project goals, expectations, and deliverables. Manage the creation of NPD documentation and processes ensuring stakeholders are involved. Conduct project reviews to ensure the ongoing development and improvement of NPD processes and supporting documentation. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders ensuring that specified objectives are delivered throughout the product development lifecycle. Act as guardian of the NPD Process and monitor compliance to the stage gate process. Follow and comply with all group processes, standards, and guidelines in the performance of your role. Work collaboratively with peers and colleagues and apply learnings from identified training and development activities required to perform. Prepare and manage project financial budgets. Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Manager within the timeframe specified, in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are deemed competent to fulfil these. Who are we looking for? You will need a technical understanding and curiosity for new technological developments. The ability to present information clearly and concisely and have good communication skills and the ability to present ideas to a broad range of stakeholders. Be adaptive and able to respond to changing project scopes and timelines. Qualifications & Experience: You will be a well organised, disciplined and experienced Project Manager. Proficient in working with software such as Microsoft office, Project/Planner, SharePoint and PowerPoint presentations. Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively, under pressure and to tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to work as part of a team and motivate colleagues. Previous experience with new product development (NPD) would be desirable. Flexible to travel as this may required as part of the role. *The role will be based at our Great Yarmouth office so you will need to live within a commutable distance to this location.
