Salesforce Developer – Service Cloud | Permanent | Remote (UK)
We are looking for a experienced Salesforce Developer to join our growing team on a permanent basis. In this role, you’ll take ownership of building scalable and secure Salesforce Service Cloud solutions, working from detailed architectural designs to deliver high-quality, production-ready features. This is a hands-on technical role with a strong focus on development, automation, and Agile delivery.
Responsibilities:
* Build and configure Salesforce Service Cloud features such as case management, knowledge base, workflows, and automation.
* Develop robust Salesforce Flows and write clean, scalable Apex code (classes, triggers, components).
* Use DevOps tools like Copado, Gearset, or Azure DevOps to manage deployments, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
* Operate in an Agile environment, managing user stories and tasks in Jira.
* Collaborate with architects, QA engineers, and project managers to deliver on time and to spec.
* Maintain technical documentation and contribute to peer reviews and quality control.
* Support live Salesforce applications and contribute to continuous improvement.
Skills:
* 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, with strong exposure to Service Cloud.
* Proficiency in Salesforce Flow development and advanced process automation.
* Strong Apex programming skills and experience with unit testing.
* Experience with DevOps practices, including source control (Git), branching, and automated deployments.
* Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC).
* Understanding of Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP) and integration techniques.
* Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
* Excellent communication and documentation skills.
* Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I/II, Service Cloud Consultant (strongly preferred).
* Awareness of accessibility standards and testing.
