About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Test Development Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work with advanced test equipment, including Teradyne UltraFLEX and J750 systems, helping to develop and improve innovative testing solutions. Location
Located at our head office and state‑of‑the‑art fabrication facility in Plymouth.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement and maintain digital and mixed‑signal test solutions.
* Specify hardware required for testing such as probecards, interface boards etc.
* Develop and optimise test programs for complex devices using Teradyne Ultraflex and J750 systems.
* Perform test program, Test HW characterization over temperature (Ex. Shmoo analysis), GRR, Correlation, setup calibration and product qualification.
* Drive and perform the Repeatability and Reproducibility Studies which are necessary to transfer a test solution from an in‑house development site or from other development sites to a full manufacturing high volume setup.
* Define and release procedures for all aspects of test program development (e.g. test program release, test coding guidelines etc).
* Release and support test programs for production.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure on time delivery test coverage and quality.
* Work with stakeholders to identify and implement test process improvements.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Significant experience with Teradyne Ultraflex and J750 systems.
* Understanding of digital and analog test principles.
* Problem‑solving and analytical skills.
* Experience with GRR and test program release processes including data analysis software (eg. JMP, Examinator).
Advantage
* Mixed‑signal testing expertise.
* uLED and /or display panel testing expertise.
* Knowledge of Teradyne IRIS100S system.
* Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and test flows.
* Knowledge of TEL probers.
* Expertise with test program control such as git.
