Role Overview:
* Location: Farnborough (onsite in secure environments // hybrid flex)

What You’ll Be Doing:
* Design, build, and support secure network solutions across LAN and WAN environments
* Configure and manage routing protocols including OSPF and BGP
* Implement VPNs and security infrastructure such as firewalls and NGFWs
* Translate high and low-level designs into working network configurations
* Support and troubleshoot complex network environments, including data centre networks
* Work with engineers and architects to deliver secure, high-performance systems
* Contribute to proof of concepts, lab testing, and adoption of new technologies
* Apply secure-by-design principles across all network implementations
Main Skills Needed:
* Strong experience with WAN architecture and SD-WAN technologies
* Solid understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
* Experience with VPNs, IKEv2, and network security infrastructure
* Hands-on firewall configuration across multi-vendor environments
* Data centre networking knowledge (Spine/Leaf, EVPN, BGP, Geneve)
* Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
* Experience supporting technologies like NSX and HAIPE (desirable)
* Ability to work independently and solve problems in secure, restricted environments
* Strong documentation skills and experience working from technical designs
