Innovation Chef\n\nLocation: Nottinghamshire\n\nHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm\n\nSalary: Up to £50,000 per annum\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nWe are looking for a passionate and highly creative Innovation Chef to join the dynamic team in Nottinghamshire.\n\nThis is a rare opportunity for a chef with a Michelin-level background to move into an innovation-focused role — while enjoying an excellent work-life balance with daytime hours, Monday to Friday.\n\nYou will play a key role in developing new and exciting food concepts, working closely with the development and operations teams to bring Michelin-quality ideas into scalable, commercially successful products.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Develop innovative recipes, menus, and product concepts to Michelin-level standards\n\n * Lead culinary sessions, tastings, and trials with internal stakeholders and customers\n\n * Research and incorporate emerging food trends, flavours, and techniques\n\n * Collaborate with NPD (New Product Development), marketing, and production teams to bring ideas from concept to launch\n\n * Maintain detailed documentation of recipes, ingredients, and processes\n\n * Ensure all innovation aligns with quality, safety, and brand standards\n\nAbout You:\n\n * Proven experience in Michelin-starred or fine-dining restaurants\n\n * Passionate about food innovation, creativity, and culinary excellence\n\n * Strong understanding of flavour profiling, modern cooking techniques, and food presentation\n\n * Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team\n\n * Excellent organisation and communication skills\n\n * A proactive, solution-focused approach to challenges\n\n * Previous experience in a development or innovation role is an advantage (but not essential)\n\nWhat’s on Offer:\n\n * Competitive salary up to £50,000\n\n * Daytime working hours (no evenings or weekends)\n\n * A creative, fast-paced working environment\n\n * Opportunities for career development and progression\n\n * The chance to influence exciting, market-leading food products\n\nInterested?\n\nIf you are a Michelin-level chef looking for your next career step outside of the traditional kitchen, we would love to hear from you
