A well-established contractor is seeking an experienced Document Controller to support a major construction project based in Edmonton. This is a long-term role ideal for someone confident managing site documentation and supporting project teams in a fast-paced environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Manage project documentation using Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
*
Control the flow of drawings, specifications, and technical documents across the project team.
*
Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with document control procedures.
*
Maintain version control, filing systems, and project trackers.
*
Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure timely distribution and updates.
*
Assist with O&M manual preparation and project handover documentation.
*
Provide general administrative support to the site office.
🧩 Requirements:

Proven experience as a Document Controller on construction projects.
*
Proficient with EDMS platforms such as ASITE, Viewpoint, SharePoint, or similar.
*
Strong attention to detail and document accuracy.
*
Good communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
*
Comfortable working in a site-based environment.
*
CSCS card preferred.
