We are seeking a hands-on Billing Manager to join our growing Facility Management & Support Services business based in Livingston.This is a key role within our expanding Shared Service Centre, offering the opportunity to take ownership of billing operations while supporting team development and driving process improvement.Reporting to the Finance Accountant, the successful candidate will lead from the frontmanaging both purchase and sales ledger activities, while mentoring a small team and enhancing the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of our billing function.This role is well-suited to an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys improving processes within a growing business.Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of the day-to-day billing function, ensuring accuracy and timelinessSupport, mentor, and develop a small billing teamManage the preparation and issuance of customer invoicesCoordinate monthly billing cycles with Operations to meet strict deadlinesMaintain and enhance control of ledger activitiesReview and analyse billing performance, identifying areas for improvementResolve internal and external billing queries efficiently and professionallyCollaborate closely with Credit Control to ensure a seamless end-to-end processBuild strong cross-functional relationships to support effective service deliveryContribute to departmental meetings and continuous improvement initiativesSupport senior management with reporting, process enhancements, and ad hoc requirementsSkills & ExperienceProven experience in a similar billing or finance roleWorking knowledge of Xero and Microsoft OfficeSolid understanding of WIP and accrualsExperience managing both consolidated and individual invoicing processesAbility to manage tight deadlines, particularly during month-end cyclesPrevious team leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)Strong communication and stakeholder management skillsHighly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing prioritiesWhy Join UsThis is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in a growing business, where you can influence processes, support team development, and help shape a high-performing finance function.TPBN1_UKTJ
