The Vacancy
The RSK Group is seeking a part-time Office Administrator for our Glasgow office. This is a permanent role, working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 1pm to 5pm.
Responsibilities:
1. Answering incoming external calls
2. Managing visitors’ and callers’ queries
3. Operating the switchboard, placing calls, and taking messages
4. Responding to email requests and inquiries
5. Maintaining meeting room, electric vehicle, and hot desk calendars
6. Handling incoming and outgoing post
7. Arranging couriers
8. Ordering office supplies such as stationery, tea, coffee, and milk
9. Providing administrative support to the Office Manager
10. Supporting RSK businesses as needed
11. Overseeing daily operations including maintenance and repairs
12. Assisting the Office Manager and Safety Officer in implementing and monitoring the company’s Health and Safety Management System to ensure legal compliance
Person Specification:
1. Previous experience in a similar role
2. Excellent organizational and communication skills
3. Polite and professional telephone manner
4. IT literacy, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams
5. Ability to work under pressure and use initiative
6. Punctuality, reliability, and trustworthiness
7. Willingness to undertake relevant training
Salary and Benefits:
* £13,500 pro rata based on 20 hours per week (£27,000 FTE)
