Payroll Manager
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + 10% performance bonus
Contract: Permanent
Location: Warwick (Hybrid – 2 days office-based)
Our client is a well-established professional services firm with over two decades of success. Their specialist Payroll team plays a crucial role in delivering accurate, compliant, and timely payroll services to an expanding portfolio of clients from around the world.
As part of their growth, they are seeking a confident, capable Payroll Manager to oversee a small, skilled team and drive continued excellence across their payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop the payroll team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
* Oversee and process monthly payrolls for multiple clients.
* Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and excellent client service.
* Liaise confidently with clients, offering guidance and solutions to payroll‑related queries.
* Identify process improvements and drive best practices across operations.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience within a payroll bureau or multi‑client environment.
* Strong understanding of end‑to‑end payroll processes.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Confident, proactive, and highly organised with a hands‑on approach.
* Natural leader with the ability to mentor and motivate a team.
* CIPP qualification or working towards it (support can be provided).
