About the Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic and curious Category & Insight Executive to join our UK Poultry team - an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in category management and consumer insights within food manufacturing.
You'll gain hands-on experience across both customer-facing category work - visiting stores and monitoring new product launches - and insight work, analysing consumer panels and data sources to uncover what drives shopper choice. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn, grow, and shape your career path within a leading UK food manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Insight Manager with consumer data collection, surveys, polls, and message boards from our panel of consumers
Analyse data from retailer sources to identify trends in volume, value, and shopper behaviour
Support the Category team by visiting stores, monitoring new product launches, and tracking competitor activity
Spot emerging food trends, particularly across social media and digital platforms, and share insights with the wider team
Prepare reports and presentations in Excel and PowerPoint to share insights with key stakeholders across Sales, NPD, and Commercial teams
About You
You'll be naturally inquisitive, data-driven, and passionate about understanding what makes consumers tick. You'll have a great eye for detail, an interest in the food industry, and a strong desire to learn and grow within category and insight management.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys analysing data, spotting trends, and bringing insights to life in a commercial setting.
