At the Sheldon's Family Bakery, we produce some of the most iconic bread products in the UK. Part of what makes this family bakery unique is it's people. Through continued expansion and investment, we are increasing our specialist Hygiene Team at our Manchester site.
We are looking for dedicated specialist hygiene operatives to join our team. Lead by the Hygiene Manager, and working as part of a shift system on the day shift, you will be responsible for the day-to-day hygiene of our bakeries, equipment and environment.
What are are looking for?
* Someone who is a team player who can fit in with, and work alongside, our existing team.
* Someone who is able to undertake tasks on their own.
* Someone who isn't afraid to take their own initiative in Hygiene - someone who gets things done and is always looking for the next task.
* Someone who is flexible. You won't be in the same place every day, there's a lot to learn and a lot to do.
* Good levels of English are required - Reading, Speaking and Writing.
* Experience in Hygiene is preferred, although full training will be given.
What's in the job?
* You will be responsible for the cleaning of the environments, bakeries and other areas.
* You will be responsible for cleaning the machinery (both inside, and out).
* You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of cleaning, and will record this in our Hygiene System.
* You will be responsible for replenishing hygiene equipment and consumables within your area.
* You will work as part of a Shift System of at least 4 days. Each shift is 12 hours (6am to 6pm)
* Saturday Working is a requirement. All Hygiene Staff must work on a Saturday and this is reflected in the shifts.
