Purpose Of the Role:
To work collaboratively within a team to coordinate warehouse production activities and support efficient, high-quality operations.
Responsibilities
Provide technical management and day-to-day coordination of warehouse employees
Schedule team activities and allocate tasks in line with the Warehouse Shift Manager's instructions
Ensure all defined warehouse processes are carried out correctly and consistently
Conduct daily briefings with the Warehouse Shift Manager
Lead and participate in team meetings as required
Enforce standards of order, cleanliness, and safety within the assigned warehouse area
Identify opportunities for optimisation and continuous improvement and support their implementation
Monitor the correct and safe use of technical equipment and resources (e.g. Forklifts, high-speed trucks)
Ensure compliance with operational procedures and health and safety requirements
The Ideal Candidate will have
Valid forklift licence (desirable)
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
Knowledge of warehouse processes, including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch
Strong understanding of health and safety requirements in a warehouse environment
Skilled in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and high-speed trucks safely and efficiently
Ability to organise work, prioritise tasks, and ensure operational targets are met
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic IT tools
Proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and support their implementation
