Looking to take the next step in your legal career or specialise further in regulatory law? This is a standout opportunity to join a busy, well-respected team working on varied, high-quality work with real responsibility from day one. Whether you already have regulatory experience or come from a criminal or commercial background, this role offers the platform to develop a genuine specialism in a growing area of law.

You’ll be working on complex and often high-profile matters involving professional discipline, regulatory enforcement, and investigations. The role offers autonomy, variety, and strong support from experienced colleagues, making it ideal for someone looking to grow their expertise in a fast-paced but supportive environment.

In this role, you will:

1. Manage your own varied regulatory caseload from start to finish
2. Advise professional and commercial clients on complex legal issues
3. Draft clear, practical legal advice, documents, and correspondence
4. Prepare cases for hearings and represent clients at meetings and proceedings
5. Work closely with Counsel, experts, and internal teams
6. Handle regulatory investigations, enforcement action, and appeals
7. Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards and internal procedures
8. Build strong client relationships and support business development activity
9. Maintain high standards of client care and professional conduct

We’re looking for someone who can bring confidence, clarity, and strong judgement to their work, particularly when managing sensitive or high-pressure cases.

You will ideally have:

10. Qualified Solicitor status with a current practising certificate
11. Experience in regulatory law, or transferable experience from criminal or commercial law
12. Strong drafting, analytical, and organisational skills
13. A solid understanding of professional conduct and legal procedure
14. A proactive, commercially aware, and solutions-focused approach
15. Confidence managing competing priorities and a busy caseload

What’s in it for you
You’ll be joining a supportive and well-established legal environment where your development and wellbeing are genuinely prioritised. Alongside interesting, varied work and real autonomy, you can expect:

16. Hybrid working to support better work–life balance
17. Generous annual leave that increases with service
18. Salary sacrifice pension scheme and early monthly pay option
19. Life assurance and enhanced maternity/paternity pay
20. Wellbeing support covering financial, physical, and mental health
21. Free on-site parking and travel support schemes
22. Retail discounts, cashback offers, and reward & recognition schemes
23. Cycle to Work scheme and free eye tests
24. Social events, clubs, and internal community initiatives

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking legal environment where you’ll be trusted with responsibility, exposed to high-quality work, and supported to build a long-term career in regulatory law.
