Role Responsibilities
As an Audit Semi Senior, you will be working closely with senior auditors and managers, gaining hands-on experience in the audit process. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in audit assignments, including planning, fieldwork, and completion
* Working with a variety of clients, including commercial businesses and not-for-profits
* Preparing audit working papers and financial statements
* Supporting the audit team in reviewing client records and financial data
* Liaising directly with clients to request necessary information and provide updates
* Ensuring compliance with audit regulations and accounting standards
* Developing your technical knowledge and working towards audit senior responsibilities

Candidate Requirements
* Part-qualified ACA or ACCA (or working towards qualification)
* Demonstrable audit experience within an accountancy practice
* Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting principles
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients
* Proficiency in accounting software such as CaseWare, CCH, Xero, or Sage (desirable)
