As our Attendance Administrative Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting students to attend, achieve, and thrive. This front-facing role is vital in providing excellent customer service to pupils, parents, and staff, handling inquiries, and supporting day-to-day pupil office operations efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
1. Serve as the first point of contact for pupils and parents, providing a warm and helpful welcome.
2. Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries promptly and courteously.
3. Monitor and record daily student attendance.
4. Make follow-up calls to parents/carers regarding absences and lateness.
5. Work closely with pastoral and safeguarding teams to identify and support students with attendance concerns.
6. Assist pupils and parents with registration, attendance, and general school procedures.
7. Manage pupil records.
8. Support the administration team with daily office tasks, producing reports to ensure smooth school operations.
9. Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain compliance with data protection policies.
10. Assist in resolving minor pupil concerns or direct them to appropriate staff members.

Salary: G4 - SCP 13-16 - £24,405 - £25,183 FTE (Pay Award Pending). Actual Salary: £21,272 - £21,950 (Pay Award Pending).
