Role Overview:
Responsible for Managing and guiding a team of Visual merchandisers across all levels, as well as a variety of stores covering multiple areas. Planning and keeping track of all training across your remit to ensure all training delivered is to company standard. You will delegate key information down to your team for action. Have strong communication skills, Be commercially aware and understand key market trends and competitor activities to make informed decisions. You will support the Regional Visual manager as well as implement any key initiatives set out by the head office team. A Visual Support Manager should be self motivated and able to set Objectives to achieve set targets and improve overall store and team performance.
Key Role and Responsibilities:
Visual Merchandising:
Analyse sales figures such as weekly Trade reports (branch review, top 10 by brand) to review areas of focus.
deliver up and coming trends through product in store to maximise sales.
Delegate and Implement weekly VM pack guidelines to your teams where applicable
Continually think ahead, be pro active with new seasonal changes, peak trade initiatives and commercial awareness.
Support Area Manager with any area information as and when needed.
Contribute to any senior store visits from H/O or Retail.
Head up new store openings across your store base alongside Regional Visual Manager.
Create visually appealing and innovative store layouts, ensuring optimal product placement and flow.
Manage the overall execution of new window displays when new campaigns launch.
Communication & Vision:
Hold excellent verbal and written communication skills with Delegates and Peers.
Be able to give clear and constructive feedback to field teams and Head Office teams.
Be Innovative and forward thinking, promote positive change within the workplace.
Inspire creative change and new ways of working.
People & Talent:
Recognise talent whilst out in the field.
Able to consistently promote the Visual role whilst in the field and meeting new people.
Be proactive with training, Contribute to the design and Delivery to all VM training across the region.
An Inspirational leader who is able to coach and mentors Delegates to improve skillset.
Travel and Movements:
Have a full clean UK Driving Licence
Be able to travel and stay overnight when needed.
Have excellent time keeping skills whist visiting multiple stores.
Plan weekly movements effectively alongside Regional Visual manager and Area Managers
