Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Quantity Surveyor based in Teignmouth. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will oversee cost management processes, including cost estimation, cost reporting, and budgeting throughout the project lifecycle. Additional responsibilities involve preparing and analyzing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), managing cost planning processes, and ensuring accurate and timely cost reporting to support project financial goals. The candidate will interact closely with project teams to ensure effective cost control and adherence to budgets.
Qualifications
* Strong expertise in Cost Control and Cost Management to effectively monitor and manage project expenditures.
* Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and ensuring accuracy in project estimations.
* Experience in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting to support informed financial decision-making and align with project goals.
* Attention to detail and ability to deliver results within established project timelines and budgets.
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential for effective collaboration.
* Familiarity with water and wastewater industry projects or experience within similar civil engineering sectors is advantageous.
