Job Description
Robertson Recruitment are working with a manufacturing company as they currently recruit for an experienced spot welderto join our busy sheet metal fabrication team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on welding experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Working hours
Monday to Friday. 08:00am - 16:00pm
Key Responsibilities
* Operating spot welding machines safely and efficiently
* Spot welding sheet metal components to drawings and job instructions
* Checking weld quality and carrying out basic inspections
* Setting up jigs and fixtures as required
* Carrying out basic machine checks and routine maintenance
Requirements
* Previous experience as a spot welder in a sheet metal or fabrication environment
* Ability to read and follow engineering drawings
* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
* Strong understanding of health & safety in a manufacturing setting
