Groomfield Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-owned business with over 40 years of success, we are recruiting a Counterbalance and Reach Driver to join their close-knit warehouse team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a stable, long-term role, youll benefit from a 6-month handover and full training, ensuring you are fully supported before taking ownership of the role. Working Hours 6:00am 4:30pm, 4 days out of 5 (always working 4 days between Monday to Friday, floating day will change) Benefits - Temp to Perm opportunity / January start with 6 months structured handover / Uniform provided after qualifying period / Friendly, supportive working environment within a small, experienced team. The Role as a Counterbalance and Reach Driver: Order picking (approx. 200 picks per day) Booking in stock and putting away Transporting stock between manufacturing and warehouse sites Goods inwards: unloading and storing raw materials Stock taking and inventory control Re-boxing and weighing smaller orders Processing returned products Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards Working safely and in line with written procedures and SOPs Experience of the Counterbalance and Reach Driver: Valid external forklift licences : Reach & Counterbalance (essential) Full, clean UK driving licence (essential) Confident driving long wheelbase Transit vans and 7.5-ton vehicles Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment Over 25 years of age (due to insurance) If youre an experienced warehouse professional looking for a secure role with long-term prospects in a respected family business, wed love to hear from you.
