Qualification Degree or post-graduate qualification in an acoustics-related discipline Experience Membership of the Institute of Acoustics Extensive and detailed understanding of Building Acoustics Minimum of 2 years consultancy experience preferably within design stage of projectsBe self-motivated, able to learn quickly, and work independently to deadlines. Be able to write fluent and intelligible reports and designs, placing a high emphasis on accuracy and consistency. Good communication and client liaison skills DutiesInput on architectural, MEP, and structural design Oversee and run acoustic modeling programmers Liaise with consultants, engineers, and architects Project management Writing high-quality reports Undertaking acoustic assessments by Building Regulations, Building Bulletins, and British and International Standards.
