We are seeking an experienced Senior Document Controller to join a leading construction project team in, working closely with project management and site teams to ensure all documentation is managed accurately, efficiently, and in line with digital workflows.
This role is ideal for a confident, organised Document Controller who thrives in a fast‑paced site environment and enjoys taking ownership of digital document management processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing the full document control process across the project
* Maintaining accurate digital records, drawing registers, and project documentation
* Ensuring all documents are uploaded, tracked, issued, and reviewed correctly
* Supporting the site team with document queries and ensuring compliance with project protocols
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to maintain smooth information flow
* Ensuring all documentation meets project and industry standards
* Managing revisions, version control, and digital approvals workflows
* Maintaining transparency and traceability across all digital systems
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Document Controller within construction
* Strong understanding of digital document control systems Asite
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confident working in a site‑based environment
* Ability to work independently and proactively
* Strong communication skills and experience coordinating with site teams
