Role: Programmes Coordinator Salary: £25k fully-funded place on the Code First Girls CFGdegree after 6 months of employment (market value £10,000). About the team The role of the Programme Management Team is to organise, plan and deliver our courses to be the best they can be, working closely with other teams to ensure excellent instructor and student experience, and to make fast-paced progress towards our mission and overall company goals and targets. We continually pursue scalable and sustainable ways to optimise learning and delivery, striving to ensure we cultivate an environment where people feel supported and encouraged in their tech learning path. About the role Programme Delivery The Programmes Coordinator needs to be organised and take ownership of setting up CFG programmes, report on course and learner progress to internal teams, and deliver exceptional service to our applicants and students. There are four core strands to the Coordinator role: 1. Programme Coordination You will support the delivery of our Advanced Programmes (CFGdegree or MLA). Under the guidance of a Programmes Manager or the Head of Programmes, you will support the end-end process of delivering an advanced programme, from recruiting instructors, to developing timetables, supporting learners, and celebrating successful completion with them! You will work with our community on a daily basis to support them throughout their learning with us ensuring their experience is positive. You will create and supervise communication channels in systems such as Slack to reply to queries promptly and resolve any issues. You will also manage the course end process, including issuing grades and certificates. 2. Development and Learning As a Coordinator, you will learn more about CFG, our values and mission, and develop good knowledge of the programme that you coordinate. You should strive to develop an in-depth understanding of your programme and start to contribute to wider discussions on programme development and improvement. 3. Process Understanding Within the role, you will be able to make positive and active changes to the Programmes team processes by identifying key areas of improvement. Using initiative and drawing from experience, you will be able to think of ways to streamline current processes, to improve the experience of the Programmes team, instructors and learners. 4. Learner Management and Experience You will work closely with your team to ensure that all student queries and issues are resolved swiftly and in line with our policies. Student communication may be via Slack, email, or video calls when required. You will follow set processes and escalate to senior colleagues as required for support. Key Responsibilities Assist in the planning and coordination of programme activities. Manage communications through email and Slack. Track invoicing and freelance activity in relevant trackers. Assist in the development of positive relationships both inside the team and with external parties. Monitor programme policies. Coordinate interactions/relationships between employees, clients, administrators, and any other programme participants. Create and keep track of programme records, reports, presentations, and proposals. About You Essential: The ability to work collaboratively. This role will work closely with individuals across the business. You will have a passion for social impact and a desire to change the technology industry. Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. Quick to adapt to changes in business priorities and strategy from senior management. The ability to learn new tools and processes quickly. Desirable: Experience working in administration or customer service. Experience within education, e.g. teaching, tutoring, or mentoring. Experience and knowledge of using tools in G-suite and CRM systems. The deadline to apply is 11.59pm on Wednesday, 13th May.
