Due to very high demand, we are actively recruiting Support Workers to cover shifts in homeless hostels and supported living projects throughout the Hampshire area, including Basingstoke, Aldershot, and surrounding areas.
We offer a variety of shifts in different settings, including early, late, long days, sleep-ins, and waking nights. You can choose your preferred shift pattern. Support Workers can work continuously within a single project for consistency or across multiple projects for flexibility and variety. Our staff value the ability to work as much or as little as they like, fitting work around their lifestyle and commitments, or working as their main income source.
We prefer candidates with experience supporting adults and post-16 young people or similar backgrounds.
Ideal applicants will have the skills and mindset to work with vulnerable individuals facing traumatic issues. Support Workers should be emotionally resilient, patient, empathetic, and maintain consistency in their approach and communication. The ability to establish and uphold safe boundaries is crucial, as some individuals may display challenging or unpredictable behaviors.
