Job Summary
We're looking for a baker / pastry chef to join us in the kitchen at BAKE in Leeds City Centre.
The shop theme is British Classics with the attention to detail and quality as French patisserie. No croissants here, more buff vanilla slices and cheese twists, and a bunch bread. Shokupan, Subs, Focaccia.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries & bread
- Decorate pastries using icing, glazes, and toppings
- Ensure all baked goods meet exceptional standards
- Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations in the kitchen
Experience/ Requirements
* Obviously early starts (5am)
* Lamination Experience (Not required but a bonus)
* Experience working with dough schedules is preferable
* High attention to detail
* A drive for perfection
* Good work ethic and a willingness to learn
* Understand the importance of teamwork
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
