Events Bar Assistant

Working in our busy wedding and events venue, you will assist in supporting the events manager/supervisor in delivering in all wedding and events.

Job Purpose: To provide a warm, friendly and efficient service to our guests, ensuring exceptional service standards are delivered and maintained at all times in line with our guest expectations.

Department: Wedding and Events
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Serving beverages from our bars in a professional and friendly manner whilst maintaining exceptional standards.
Help assist with setting up arrival drinks, getting wines ready for wedding breakfast and making sure bars are all kept stocked up for the evening.
Maintaining cleanliness of the bar and the function room to make sure everything's prepared and to of a high standard for the next function.
Assisting to help with setting up for the wedding/events before the day, ensuring crockery, glasses, cutlery, decorations are all organised ready for the function.
To be able to deliver alcoholic beverages, whilst being able to handle taking cash and using the tills.
Ensure that all front of house and guest areas are well maintained at all times.
Key Requirements for the Role:
* Experience of working in a similar role and/or environment would be advantageous but not essential
* Accurate and efficient cash handling skills
* High standard of personal presentation
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident and outgoing personality and an ability to interact with people at all levels
* Ability to take initiative and resolve queries in a practical and positive manner
* Passion for delivering exceptional guest service
* Courteous and pleasant attitude towards guests and colleagues
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Good attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure and juggle competing priorities in a busy, fast paced and challenging environment with minimum supervision
* Positive and flexible approach to work (weekend and evening work will be required)
* Confident and outgoing personality
* Proof of eligibility to work in the United Kingdom
Job Type: Zero hours contract
Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
