You will be responsible for the quality assurance efforts for the HR and Payroll systems in the People Services Transformation. You will manage a test team, develop comprehensive strategies, and contribute to project success. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you'll ensure a thorough understanding of system requirements and oversee the execution of rigorous testing. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a high-performing team, resolving defects, and providing strategic input for HR system implementations. You will help us deliver high-quality solutions and will be a key force in our transformative journey.
Key Skills and Experience:
1. 5+ years of experience.
2. Demonstrated experience as a Test Lead in HRIS implementations, showcasing a track record of successful test leadership practices.
3. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team towards achieving common goals.
4. In-depth understanding of testing methodologies and best practices, ensuring a strategic and effective approach to testing procedures.
5. Proven experience in executing both manual and automated testing procedures for complex HR and Payroll systems.
6. Familiarity with test management tools and proficiency in creating and maintaining test scripts.
7. Knowledge of data migration testing processes and validation to ensure accurate and secure data transfer.
8. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment, fostering teamwork, effective communication, and stakeholder engagement.
9. Proven track record of successfully leading teams through complex testing phases, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
10. Experience in providing strategic input into testing processes and influencing testing strategies for HR system implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
11. Lead the development of comprehensive test strategies and test plans, outlining a strategic approach to testing procedures.
12. Manage a team of test analysts, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
13. Collaborate with the project team to comprehensively understand system requirements, ensuring alignment with testing objectives.
14. Oversee the execution of both functional and non-functional testing, ensuring a rigorous assessment of the HR and Payroll system.
15. Ensure timely identification and resolution of defects, collaborating with the development team and maintaining a focus on system optimisation.
16. Work collaboratively with the wider project team, vendors, subject matter experts, regional Heads of HR, and the Technology and HRIS team to agree and establish specific testing requirements.
17. Demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills, motivating and guiding the test team towards project success.
This role highly values practical experience in HR system implementations, and candidates with expertise in HR platforms such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, Ceridian, etc., will be highly regarded.
