About The Role
This role provides a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to deliver research in battery cell sensing, BMS development and characterisation, as part of an established and highly successful team, working in collaboration with an established UK industrial automotive partner.
Responsibilities
* Deliver research in battery cell sensing, BMS development and characterisation.
* Collaborate with an established UK industrial automotive partner and the Warwick Manufacturing Group team.
* Engage in independent and team-based research activities and contribute to high-quality outputs in line with the department's standards.
About You
You will need a PhD (or be close to submission) in a relevant subject, and experience of the theory and practice of sensor development, wireless communication and embedded electronics. You will ideally have experience of battery system development including experimental assessment/characterisation of battery technology. You will have excellent communication skills, be flexible, and be able to work independently and as part of a diverse research team. You will have undertaken complementary research or development in one or more of the above areas and be able to demonstrate your capability through appropriate academic experience.
