It's crucial for you to understand that your role goes beyond that of a regular domestic cleaner; as an Airbnb housekeeper, you'll need specialist skills, an extremely strong attention to detail, an innate sense of initiative and common sense, and a solid understanding of hospitality—qualities you can learn and develop with us and carry with you for life.
Your role involves ensuring every aspect of our Airbnb property is on-point—from spotless bathrooms and beautifully made beds to fully stocked kitchens. Your work is vital for earning great reviews, encouraging repeat visits, and making each stay unforgettably clean and tidy for our guests.
Responsibilities:
* Clean and prepare properties to high standards adhering to detailed checklists.
* Thorough cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, game rooms and living rooms.
* Remove, inspect, wash, dry and change bed linens and towels.
* Clean and disinfect all surfaces.
* Empty bins and dispose of waste.
* Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
* Vacuum and mop floors.
* Restock essential supplies and amenities.
* Ensure all areas are immaculately clean—because for our guests, spotless isn't enough; it's the little details that add the cherry on top of a perfect stay.
* Report any damages, maintenance requirements, or possible improvements.
* Ensure all fixtures, fittings and appliances are clean and functional.
* Maintain inventory of linen and cleaning supplies.
* Take before and after photos and videos of each property.
* Key and lockbox management and security.
* Follow safety protocols.
* Collaborate with team members and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
* Must have own vehicle to accept and collect deliveries of stock and replenishments
* Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a hospitality setting.
* Exceptional attention to detail, commitment to quality, and the ability to put yourself in the mind of a guest to understand their expectations.
* Strong communication skills, proficient in English, with a positive attitude.
* An innate sense of initiative, common sense, and resourcefulness, with the ability to quickly solve complex problems and think on your feet in time-pressured situations.
* Ability to work independently, manage a team, manage time effectively, and maintain high standards.
* Ideally - flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays, often at short notice (ideally 1-2 days).
* Must drive to different locations or live locally.
* Have a smartphone (e.g. Apple iPhone or Android) with WhatsApp and the ability to take clear detailed photos and videos.
* Reliable and punctual with a commitment to excellence.

Schedule:
