About AVUK AVUK is on a mission to ensure that every deaf child has the same opportunities in life as their hearing peers. Through Auditory Verbal therapy, AVUK empowers deaf babies and children to learn to listen and speak, while also training health and education professionals in this life-changing approach. The charity is committed to expanding access to Auditory Verbal therapy across the UK, advocating for it to be available through publicly funded services close to home. Auditory Verbal UK (AVUK) Location: Hybrid – Central London (Bermondsey) & Remote (minimum 1 day in-office per fortnight) Salary: Circa £55,000 FTE (Part-time considered, minimum 0.7 FTE) Reports to: CEO Direct Reports: 5 (Trusts & Foundations, Development, Partnerships, Philanthropy) Benefits: 7% pension, 27 days annual leave (pro-rata) bank holidays 1 privilege day The Role As Head of Fundraising, you’ll lead both strategically and operationally, shaping and delivering a bold fundraising strategy aligned with AVUK’s 10-year vision. You’ll manage and inspire a talented team, build meaningful relationships with supporters, and unlock new income streams to fuel AVUK’s mission.
