The Role: Lecturer in Business at Global Banking School, teaching undergraduate levels as part of the BA (Hons) Global Business Management programme with University Of Suffork partnership. Requires flexibility for weekdays, evenings and weekends.
What you’ll be doing: Deliver management‑related modules, develop and deliver comprehensive course materials, assess student work, keep up‑to‑date with developments in the field and student support practices.
* Plan, deliver, assess student work and achieve learning outcomes.
* Develop, update and improve course materials.
* Use varied learning and teaching methods and materials.
* Engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings, and administrative duties.
* Stay current with developments in subject area and student support practices.
* Strive for clear objectives in student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression.
About You:
* Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant subject (PhD desirable).
* Have previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area.
* Demonstrate extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter.
* Have experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
* Accurately report and maintain thorough, organized student records.
* Work well under pressure, plan and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills.
* Work effectively with diverse groups of people.
Desirable:
* Hold a Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent, or commit to enrol during probation and complete within three years, or have Fellowship of HEA or international equivalent.
* Experience in design/development of academic or professional education programmes.
