Role: Teaching Assistant
Contract: Flexible (full time or part time)
Location: North Cornwall
Salary: £88 - £95 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
About the role:
* Assist the Teacher in ensuring a positive and safe learning environment
* Support students with SEN, helping them to overcome barriers to learning
* Adjust activities according to pupils’ responses as appropriate
* Support pupils in their social and emotional well-being
* Promote the safeguarding and welfare of all students

About you:
* Has experience working with children, preferably within an educational or coaching setting
* Patient, empathetic, and dedicated
* The ability to engage students in their learning
* Strong understanding of SEN and strategies to support young people is desirable
* Adaptable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to drive and have access to your own car, not essential
