Role Overview
This role focuses on expanding and managing B2B relationships within the travel trade. The Sales Manager will be responsible for business development, account management, and market penetration within the regional travel agency network.
The position requires strong relationship‑building skills, an understanding of the travel market, and the ability to promote and position travel‑related products effectively within the trade community.
Key Responsibilities
* Represent and promote the company’s B2B travel products and services across the regional travel market
* Identify, onboard, and develop new business partnerships with travel agencies
* Strengthen and maintain relationships with existing travel trade partners
* Conduct product trainings, presentations, and support sessions for travel agency partners
* Generate and manage sales leads, follow up on business inquiries, and close sales opportunities
* Coordinate with internal operations teams to support pre‑sales and post‑sales needs
* Ensure strong product visibility and brand positioning across assigned regions
* Meet daily schedules to visit and engage multiple travel agency partners (target approx. 5 visits/day)
Candidate Profile
Must‑Haves
* 2–6 years of experience in the travel industry
* Experience in Business Development and Account Management
* Knowledge of outbound travel and travel trade networks
* Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel frequently
* Strong communication skills in English and local language(s)
* Proficiency in MS Office and email communication
Preferred / Nice to Have
* Prior experience working with outbound travel agencies
* Familiarity with regional travel agents, hotels, and destination portfolios
* IATA certification (advantage but not mandatory)
Not a Fit
* Candidates exclusively from non‑travel industries such as accommodation aggregator platforms or cruise‑line‑only sales roles
